Feature a group of products with a single video featuring a "look"!
With our new Shop the Look feature, you can feature products from an entire “look” in a single video on the mobile app! Mobile app shoppers can select and purchase multiple products from a product selection, all while watching the video! Shoppers can also pick individual products, flip through images, and buy products individually.
Let's take a look at how this works!
First, we have added some new settings for you here.
Autoplay Shop The Look Videos
By default, this feature is Enabled. Whenever you switch the toggle on and off, the changes will take place once the app is reopened. When this feature is Enabled, the video will play when your shopper clicks into a Shop The Look product listing in the app. The shopper can stop the video at any time. When it is Disabled, your shopper will click the play button to start the video.
Autoplay Fit Videos
By default, this feature is Disabled. Whenever you switch the toggle on and off, the changes will take place once the app is reopened. When this feature is Enabled, the video will play when your shopper clicks into a Fit Video product listing in the app. The shopper can stop the video at any time. When it is Disabled, your shopper will click the play button to start the video.
Shop the Look Default Title
This is the default title that your shopper sees on the app when viewing a Shop the Look product listing. The default text is Shop the Look at the top of the shopping tray. Whenever you modify this text, the changes will take place once the app is reopened.
It is important to note that the name of the product selection is used as the unique title of each shop the look post that shows up in the mobile feed. See below for more details on that title.
This Shop the Look Title is the title that is used at the top of the shopping tray for every shop the look post.

Creating a Shop the Look Post
Create a product selection in the products tab and then manually or auto-link to a Facebook post. Then, we’ll automatically generate a Shop the Look for your post when it has 10 items or less and also has a video. The name of your product selection will show as the name of the Shop the Look post on your app.
A Shop the Look Post must be a Facebook post with a video and be linked to a product selection that contains 10 or fewer items. Saved videos in CommentSold cannot be posted to the app for Shop the Look Posts. You must use a unique name for each product selection for your Shop the Look posts.
One of our favorite ways to use the Shop the Look Feature is to feature one item prominently and have the other items in the post complement this product! Let me show you how!
First, create your product selection and include all the products you would like to show. Once you have your items added and you know which one you'd like to feature, simply click on that photo in the product selection!
When the main product you are showing is highlighted in green, click on Save Product Selection to save your changes.
When you have a main product selected, your customers do not have to comment the identifier for this item on Facebook! To claim the main item on the post, your customers will simply comment, "Sold Size Color (if applicable). If they want to snag one of the products you've paired with this product, they will use the identifier for those!
As you can see in the comments on my post, Ashley snagged the sweater by simply saying, "sold medium", Kristie snagged the jeggings by using "sold 101 medium", and Melissa snagged the boots by using "sold 102 7".
How Does This Look in the App?
When the shopper first clicks on the Shop the Look product, they will see the video and the products in the video along the bottom.
Tapping on a Product bubble while the video is playing will allow your shopper to read the product description.
When the video stops, your shopper can tap on a Product bubble to see each product and swipe through the video. The product bubbles can be swiped to see more products in the Shop the Look collection. It will be easy for your customer to see which product she is looking at because the bubble will be outlined in your accent color, and the price will be highlighted.
Shop the Look vs. Fit Video
How can you tell the difference between a Fit Video and a Shop the Look Product? Easy!
A Shop the Look Post will have a play button as well as a teaser of some of the items in the video.
A fit video will simply show the play arrow.
That's it, y'all! It's time to let your shoppers Shop the Look!!!
