Hey there! It appears you are by affected by a recent Facebook bug. Keep reading to find out more.
We have identified a bug with Facebook that is impacting SOME PAGES and MESSENGER NOTIFICATIONS.
At the moment, we are unable to send a Facebook messenger message to any new customers through your Facebook Page. Because they receive an account confirmation link through FB messenger, this is causing new customers not to be able to shop with you through your Facebook Page.
We have reported this bug to Facebook (bug ID number #301893670508292). Our dev team is working on a solution for this issue now, and we expect to have it by the end of the day. As soon as we have any updated information, we will let you know. If you need any assistance, please just chat us in support!
We now have a solution in place for this issue. In order for items to cart, CommentSold first needs to link a customer’s comments on a Facebook page to her CommentSold account. To do this, CommentSold will first attempt to send a private message to the customer. If that fails, we will attempt to reply to the customer's comment. If that fails, we will reply to the post and tag the customer.
Note: For some mobile customers, the reply to their comment is not clickable. To fix this, the customer must click to REPLY to the message. Then, the confirmation link will be clickable.
The only reason a private message or reply to a comment would fail is if there is an active Facebook bug keeping us from doing that.
There are currently three Facebook bugs:
