Turning off FB Sales Format

This article will show you how to turn off Facebook's Sales Format

It's happened to us all. You've made your FB post through CommentSold or through FB and linked back to CS, and those two words appear on your post. "Contact Seller." This is what is known as Facebook's Sales Format, and it sometimes does not play nice with CommentSold. This article will explain to you how to turn off this sales format and get back to selling the right way with CommentSold! Let's go!

First, let's see what a sales format post looks like:

To turn it off, you must use a computer, not your cell phone. Simply click the down arrow in the top right corner of the post and select "Turn off sale format."

What happens if you click the arrow and don't see the option to turn off the format?

There are two things to check:

1. Make sure you are on a computer, not a mobile device.

2. Make sure that you are interacting as the same profile that made the post. If you made the post as yourself, you need to be interacting as yourself. If you made the post as your page, you need to be interacting as your page. You can change this on the top left of your group.

If you schedule posts through Facebook, guess what!? You can view your scheduled posts to see if they will be in Sales Format and turn it off before the posts go out! Just click on your scheduled posts and check them out!
