Hello fam! I am sure you are aware that there were some issues this week with Facebook Business Pages.
Facebook made some changes that jumbled user IDs on pages, so our system was not able to determine who your customers were. They are talking about reverting it, but we do not know when, if ever, this will happen.
Because we want you to have full functionality no matter where you decide to post your items, we have updated our system to account for this change. Now, when your customer comments "sold" on an item on your Business Page for the first time, they will receive a Facebook messenger message asking them to click on a Claim URL.
When they click the link, it takes them to their account login page, and the item will be in their cart. Easy as that! They only have to do this the first time they comment on your page; after that, items will automatically cart like before.
If your customers have any issues or say that they did not receive the link, you can check your Business Messenger Inbox to see that the message was sent and give them the URL!
