This article explains how to set up PayPal as a payment option for customers shopping on your app.
To accept Paypal in your mobile app, you will need a valid Braintree token configured in your Mobile App tab in the admin dashboard.
It should be automatically populated for you if you had a linked Paypal account during mobile app setup. If not, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure your PayPal account is a business account.
2. Visit https://www.paypal.com/businessexp/api/accesstoken and look under "Show" for your API token. Copy this.
Token provided at set up must be a PRODUCTION key, NOT a sandbox key.
You can tell the difference because the production key will have $production$ in the phrase, whereas the sandbox key will have $sand_box$ in the key.
3. In your CommentSold dashboard, navigate to Mobile App > Settings.
4. Scroll down to the Integrations section, and paste your token into the Braintree Token field.
PayPal One Touch currently does not work within the app.
